Bristle Worm Eating

by Tom Ferguson
This is a unique photo of a Bristle Worm eating by expanding its mouth to cover the sponge. I was not aware they can do this. You can see such details as the blood vessels in the membrane. Please note that the photo was not modified ... only the image size was changed. Canon 20D in an Aquatica housing with a 60mm macro lens. F/22; 1/125; ISO-400.
Location: St. Vincent Island
Category: Macro
