"Munch a Bunch"
by Steven Anderson
This Hawksbill Turtle stands vertical trying to enjoy a morning snack on small sponges along the wall at Columbia Deep. There seem to be more turtles then ever off the island paradise since the destructive hurricane Wilma in 2006. This image was taken with a Tokina 12-24 mm lens allowing me to approach quite close and still capture most of the turtle and it's feeding. I used a Nikon D60, Sea & Sea RDX Housing and 2 Sea & Sea YS 110 Strobes to capture this image.
Location: Columbia Deep - Cozumel, Mexico
